Kindness = LoVE. When your thoughts, actions and words come from your soul, they come from LoVE. Each time you think, do or say something nice, you tap into the inner you, and you are choosing to leave your ego at the door, girlfriend. Kindness is this positive energy that swirls around and dances with your inner you. LoVE and kindness are YOU.
Kindness is an easy concept to grasp when it comes to treating others nicely. We can clearly see when we do for or say something nice to another person, we are being kind and loving. And, our warm action and positive energy is creating happiness for you and the lucky person receiving a part of your soul.
We know the holiday season is a time when we slow down our every day and think “How can we help those in need? What can we do to spread some cheer and happiness. Is there something we can do or give to spread LoVE?”
So, kindness is an easy concept to grasp, but not so easy to follow in our ever day and every moment. If you were to look into the past 24 hours of your life, how many kind thoughts, words or actions did you have? Or, how many of them were more negative and judgmental? Did you allow negative thoughts, words or actions to be your reaction to your wold today? Are you coming from your mind and ego or your heart and soul?
Most importantly, are you being kind in your words, thoughts and actions to YOURSELF? Or, do you find your mind judging yourself, your body and your being? Kindness is not so easy when it comes to loving our own beings. We are so very good at self-sabotaging and not allowing happiness in/out. Kindness to yourself starts with understanding that you are the inner you; the soul and love within. You are not what you think, do or feel about yourself. You are a kind and loving soul that lives in a human body that reacts from a human mind. Being kind to yourself means ignoring the negative thoughts of the human mind and allowing positive ones. Your path to happiness is being kind to your SELF. And, if you can find ways to be kind to yourself, your world will become a kind, loving and happier place. LoVE=Kindness=YOUR INNER SELF!

I love your article and think that it is so important for women to appreciate and as you say be kind to themselves every day. It is easy to appreciate the things we have in our life but when it somes to appreciating ourselves it seems much more of a challenge. I was sweeping the floor the other day and at first thought “how boring, what a chore” and then realised it was an opportunity for me to acknowledge the fact that I was helping to keep our home tidy and clean. If we can start with the jobs that we do and just take for granted as part of our role then the whole process of appreciation for ourselves can grow. And then, everyone else benefits!
I am glad you loved the article and you are so right, cleaning is one of those things I so dread doing, but the work within our homes is the most important job within the family. It is priceless and simply not replaceable like outside jobs. And, when we have messes it means there are abundant blessings within that make the mess. We are superwomen and hear us roar!
